The crock pot is GREAT! Made 2 delicious & quick dinners so far! How have you all been doing? Meals? Snacks?? Matt's making organic "chocolate" avocado mousse as we speak... hope it's yummy! POST!! ;))
I haven't been the best eater in the last few days, but I DID make a huge bowl of black bean salad with tomatoes, green peppers, corn, cilantro and lots of other good stuff. It's filling and tasty and it makes for a great side dish to both lunches and dinners. If I could only keep away from the sugar, I'd be in good shape.
Also, I discovered apples dipped in almond butter. I'm able to knock off two secondary foods in one snack. Delicious!
I have been eating Kashi Go Lean Crisp with organic unsweetened soy milk for a second breakfast at around 10:00. It keeps me full until lunch. It is awesome cereal.
Joanne, Try incorporating more sweet root veggies into your lunch & dinner (sweet potatoes, carrots, etc) to satisfy that craving for sugar. It's worth trying & brings the awareness!

I tried the Quinoa the other night with my dinner. I had never had it before but it was good! Thanks for the suggestion Julia.
