HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

OK, how much Halloween candy did you eat??? I had 2 pieces!  Sadly, it was up there with the Stop & Shop cake (which if you came to the meeting, you know what we're talking about!). It really wasn't that good & I'm glad. Doubtful I'll eat any more of it!

How did your 1st week go? Highs & lows, post them here! You'll get WEEK 2 worksheet on Monday.

ALSO... post if you've lost some pounds!! We want to congratulate you!!

  1. Okay, well, this first week just emphasized for me exactly what I need to change about my diet. Most of the week, I checked off the same 'secondary' foods all week - not too much change! I give myself way too much leeway to eat bad food just because I've worked out. I'm still not doing enough other exercise. So, the theme of this week will really to make some changes, even if they are small ones. Add some push ups or sit ups. Go to a new class. Eat some more fruits and vegetables as a part of a meal. I think incorporating small changes will end up adding up to big ones in the long run. Oh, and I really need to send that extra candy along to Ben's office b/c I don't need it calling me in the house!

  2. I exchanged many of my regular snacks with the add-in foods from the list you gave us which made me feel better about snacking. I also did the weights and sit ups every morning before work. I did not do enough other exercises, however, and I know my eating was not as great on the weekend when I'm not on a schedule. This week it is my goal to do more cardio work-outs and keep to my healthier snack choices. I only ate one piece of Halloween candy last night and my step dad is getting the rest of it out of the house!

  3. Ugh, I ate SO MUCH of it. It's in the office, at home, etc. I tried to stick to smaller pieces...
